The human brain is divided in two hemispheres that are commonly referred to as right and left-brain. Both portions have equal amount of motor and sensory areas, however, each section is strong in typical functions. The right brain controls abstract skills related to music, art, insight, perception of three dimensional forms and imagination. The left brain on the other hand controls intellectual skills like those related to language, mathematics, science and reasoning. Another interesting fact about this brain division is that the right brain controls left hand movement while the left brain controls right hand movement. In most of us the left hemisphere is found to be more dominant.
