Cards Made From Prisoners' Skin

Captain E.M. Kingsbury felt disgusted while he was in the middle of a card game at San Carlos Indian Reserve in Arizona. He had been playing for one hour when his attention shifted to the quality of the cards. The cards were made of a very good quality raw leather. When the Captain asked his host as to where he could get the same type of cards, he started laughing. The truth was that these cards were made from the skin of the prisoners.
